Who We Are

Jayson Global Roofing has a rich history as a family business. It all began in the late 1980s with the establishment of 4 Jay Roofing Systems Inc. by founder John Bunce. His vision was simple yet powerful—to provide top-notch roofing products and exceptional service to both new home builders and homeowners looking to renovate or replace their roofs. The name “4 Jay” was inspired by the four Js in the Bunce family—John, his wife Joy, their son Jonathan, and their daughter Jennifer.

Fast forward to 1995, and Jonathan became the sole owner of the business, leading to a name change to Jayson Roofing (J-son). Under Jonathan’s leadership, the company continued to embody his father’s philosophy of delivering quality products and exceptional service. In 2011, Jayson Roofing formed a strategic alliance with Global Roof Systems, another esteemed family-run Edmonton roofing and exteriors contractor. This partnership strengthened their reputation for quality, integrity, and service.

Today, Jayson Global Roofing Inc. serves a wide range of clients, including homeowners, home builders, development companies, property management firms, and insurance companies in Edmonton and the surrounding areas. With certified tradesmen boasting over 35 years of experience, they handle projects of all sizes with efficiency and expertise.

We are fully bonded, covered by worker’s compensation, and carry a $5,000,000 liability insurance policy. We are proud members of the Edmonton Construction Association, Edmonton Region Home Builders’ Association, and the Better Business Bureau.

Edmonton Construction Association

The Edmonton Construction Association (ECA) was incorporated in 1931 and is today the largest Non-Profit Construction Association serving the Commercial, Institutional and Industrial Construction Industry in Western Canada. The ECA provides up-to-date information on construction procurement opportunities and industry activities for a membership of OVER 1,200 members.

Through the ECA, Jayson Global has partnered with many of Alberta’s largest and most successful residential, commercial, industrial and institutional construction contractor’s.

As a member of BILD Alberta, Jayson Global Roofing is committed to upholding the highest standards in the building and renovation industry. BILD (Building Industry and Land Development) Alberta represents builders, developers, and professional contractors who prioritize quality, innovation, and responsible construction practices. Our membership reflects our dedication to excellence, and ongoing industry education to benefit homeowners and property managers across Edmonton.
